(Pro Draft, Inc. will be offering discounted services to those affected by this tragedy. For more information about our Fire Repair Plans and Permit Services, see the bottom of this page.)
UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ON FIRE LOCATIONS AND AFFECTED AREAS
Accurate and up-to-date information about these fires has been hard to come by. An interactive map from NASA’s Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) is here. This is a valuable tool to see up-to-date information on areas affected by these fires:
https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/
or go here to go directly to the Island of Maui:

WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION ON YOUR PROPERTY AND THE DWELLINGS & BUILDINGS ON IT
The best place to start is the “County of Maui’s Real Property Tax Assessment Website,” which we call the “Maui Property Tax Website.”
You can search for your property by Owner Name, Location Address & Parcel Number here:
https://qpublic.schneidercorp.com/Application.aspx?App=MauiCountyHI&PageType=Search
You can also Search Public Records with Keywords or addresses in MAPPS
Search for existing permits, plans, inspections, code cases, business licenses and RFS cases
WHERE CAN I FIND PLANS OF MY HOME OR BUSINESS?
If Plans for your home or business are available, you will find them at the “County of Maui Public Documents” website:
https://publicweb1.co.maui.hi.us/PublicSearch/Maui.aspx
You can start with the “Issued Permits/Plans” link on the left:
https://publicweb1.co.maui.hi.us/PublicSearch/IssuedPermitsSearch.aspx
Copy the Parcel Number from the “Maui Property Tax Website.” And paste it into the “TMK” box with the number “2” in front of it (the #2 is the Island Code). Then hit “enter” on your keyboard.
This will show you the “Issued Permits / Plans” available in the County Records. Click on the “Download” Link on the right side of the page to view and download each record.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Sometimes we get an error message saying “Info Not Found” or “Page Not Available” If this happens to you, just go back and try again. Usually, the record will come up within 3-6 retries. Unfortunately, sometimes the retries don’t work.
